Application Process

Applications for enrollment will be accepted at all times. Currently enrolled children are given priority upon receipt of Registration Packets and annual registration fees. New student applications will be processed to fill all remaining class positions. When positions are not available, Lehigh Valley Montessori Academy will maintain a pool of applicants on a wait list.  To be considered for enrollment a child must be between the ages of 36 months and 6 years.

Please follow the instructions below to ensure the successful completion of the application process for your child.

1. Complete LVMA Application Form
Please return the following items to Lehigh Valley Montessori Academy:

• Completed application form with your signature
• Application fee (as shown on your application)
• If applicable, please forward previous school records and/or recent diagnostic assessments.

Please mail application materials to: Lehigh Valley Montessori Academy, 1580 Silo Hill Ln. Breinigsville, PA 18031.
 

2. Arrange Child Visit
Shortly after your application materials are submitted, you will receive a letter confirming your child's place on the waiting list and some reading materials about Montessori. When a space in the school becomes available, the Director will contact families from the waiting list to schedule informal child interviews. The teacher will meet with you and your child at the school on a one-to-one basis, simply to determine if Montessori is a good fit for your family. Prior to the visit, please read over the Montessori information mailed to you, so that you can ask the teacher any questions that you may have.

3. LVMA Notice of Acceptance or Denial
Upon successful completion of the application form and interview, you will receive a letter regarding your child's entrance status. Spaces offered will be reserved upon receipt of the New Family Registration Fee.

Observation

The best way to know and understand the Montessori classroom is to observe.  Parent observations are offered from mid-October through the end of May.  Observations are adult only and must be scheduled in advance.  It is strongly recommended that interested parents schedule an observation. No child shall be denied admission to Lehigh Valley Montessori Academy on the basis of race, ethnic background, religion, social class or family structure.
